Of course 'covfefe' has already spawned a cottage industry of garbage swag

It's all about that cold, hard covfefe. Ugh.

What is "covfefe"? Where some see nonsensical ramblings from a president with an itchy Twitter finger, others see dollar signs.

Jokes about Donald Trump's late-night typo may be long past beaten to death, but you can drag the shtick out to excruciating new lengths with all manner of "covfefe" merchandise.

An endless array of coffee covfefe mugs, T-shirts, baby outfits, hats, and other ephemera have materialized online in the hours since Trump fired off the enigmatic tweet.

No doubt these items are sure to remain topical for weeks to come and not elicit pitying groans from friends and family members.

Some sellers were remorseful about their brazen opportunism.

The apology wasn't enough for the popular account "WeRateDogs," which faced conservative Twitter ire for its decision to donate half of all profits to Planned Parenthood.

Nevertheless, business seems to be off to a slow start.

At least one established brand tried to capitalize on the viral mistake too.

Amazingly, some entrepreneurs seem to have already self-published e-books on the topic.

Not the least of the opportunists was the master-brander president himself, who tried to spin the embarrassing flub into a knowing joke once he saw that everyone was laughing at it.
