LOS ANGELES -- Adam Brody is returning to the small screen with Crackle's new show StartUp.

The streaming platform announced Wednesday that the 10-episode series will start on Sept. 6, 2016.

Set in Miami, the drama "explores what happens when a brilliant, yet controversial tech idea gets incubated on the wrong side of the tracks by three strangers who don’t necessarily fit the mold of tech entrepreneurs.”

It stars Brody (The League), Martin Freeman (Fargo), Edi Gathegi (The Blacklist) and Otmara Marrero (Graceland).

It is written by Ben Ketai (Chosen), who also serves as executive producer and director.

This is the latest addition to Sony Pictures Television's free streaming network.

Last year, Crackle expanded its slate with a slew of original shows, including its first scripted one-hour drama, The Art of More, which stars Dennis Quaid and Kate Bosworth, as well as the the stop-motion animated comedy series SuperMansion, with Bryan Cranston, Seth Green, Keegan Michael-Key and Jillian Bell. The platform's flagship original show, Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, launched in 2012.
