Sitting next to a terrible person during a long flight is a great way to ruin a flight, but a rude person is nothing compared to what Sara Nović had to deal with.

During her redeye flight early Friday morning, Nović realized that no one was occupying the seat next to her. Normally, this would be amazing, especially on a redeye where space is precious. Unfortunately for Nović, she ended up sitting next to a man's doll for the duration of the flight.

The man even paid for a ticket for the doll.

Which clearly caused some technical issues.

At least the man was eating healthy.

Many people following Nović's tweetstorm asked for a photo, which she was able to snap. Maybe it's the lighting, but this doll is creepier than most.

Nović had a layover, but she was unable to escape the creepy doll on her next flight.

Nović also learned that the doll's name is Barbara.

Clearly the airline workers were also freaked out with the doll.

At the time of writing, Nović has been silent on Twitter for more than two hours. She's probably catching up on some sleep after living with that nightmarish doll all night, but Mashable reached out to her to check on her well being.
