Free-spirited Cubs fan uses dancing to prevent a brawl, turns it into a party

Now watch him whip.

Cubs fans are feeling pretty good right about now.

After a dry spell of over 100 years, they've finally won another World Series and are currently on top of the baseball world. As far as Cubs fans are concerned, everything is good and nothing hurts.

Perhaps these immensely good vibes are why a Cubs fan managed to quell a fight that was brewing among a crowd of people by dancing, as captured by this video that surfaced Thursday night.

There's no doubt that this Cubs fan managed to get this crowd of people to start having a jolly good time, but we do have a couple questions.

First, was there an actual fight? Nothing caught on camera indicates any sort of tussle happening. The only clue we get is a voice in the beginning saying, "Easy, easy," presumably in an attempt to calm down two riled up people. But it seems that the internet is widely convinced that a fight was about to take place, so we'll go with that.

Secondly, and perhaps the more important question, is this actually dancing? This guy is literally just throwing the whip seven times in a row, and then acting like it's the coolest thing that anyone's ever seen. I mean, I guess the crowd is super into it? I guess we should keep in mind there's good chance this guy is very inebriated?

Whatever the case is, we're glad Cubs fans are living it up. They haven't had much cause to do the whip in the past 100 years or so. Maybe the next time they win the World Series, they'll add the nae nae to their whip.
