The cucamelon is here to make your summer adorable
Move over baby hedgehogs and newborn lion cubs. Get over yourself, Totoro bread and itty bitty cooking videos.
The cucamelon is here and it is adorable all on its own.
These small cucumbers are the fruit of the Melothria scabra vine, which is native to Central America. They have a tart, citrusy flavor and their resemblance to mini watermelons gives them the nickname cucamelons. They can be eaten raw or pickled -- and the internet at large just can't.
