New season of 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' officially coming to HBO
The wait is almost finally over.
HBO has announced that a new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm is officially in the works.
"We’re thrilled that Larry [David] has decided to do a new season of CURB and can’t wait to see what he has planned,” said Casey Bloys, president of programming at the network.

HBO has not given a target premiere date for Season 9.
According to a release from HBO, when asked why he decided to come back, David responded: “In the immortal words of Julius Caesar, ‘I left, I did nothing, I returned.'"
"Details of the new season will be announced as they are confirmed," added HBO.
Curb has not aired a new episode since September 2011.
Back in July 2015, then-president Michael Lombardo said he remained confident the world had not seen the last of the series, saying, "I don’t think it’s out of his system."
