These are the upgraded version of the previous Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones, with a few significant changes: better battery life, new immersive audio Cinema Mode, adjustable ANC, wired lossless playback, and more. They're more expensive as well, of course, but this discount makes them much more palatable.
Mashable's Bethany Allard took these headphones for a spin and praised them for their comfort, calling them "the most comfortable headphones on the market". She also appreciated their adjustable active noise cancellation, shiny metal accent, and passive playback and USB-C playback options.
