Robbery thwarted by cyclist's smooth take down

A Good Samaritan was able to stop a robbery in progress thanks to his speedy bike and smooth takedown. 

The footage of the incident was captured on a handlebar-mounted camera, and begins with the cyclist calmly riding through a tunnel  in Old Town, Wrocław, Poland.

According to the cyclist, he heard screams for help coming from the pedestrian side of the tunnel as he rode through. That's when he saw a woman, who told him that a girl's purse was just violently stolen. 

The cyclist took off after the thieves, and was able to knock them down. In the description the cyclist adds that no one was seriously injured in the incident.

The cyclist's YouTube description says that the two young women robbed a 17-year-old girl who was headed to school at the time. 

The cyclist says that he stayed with the women until police arrived, and the women were arrested. 

The cyclist also claims that appears as if the robbers were under the influence of drugs or alcohol during the robbery. Additionally, he says the women attempted to escape after taking them down, but the clip ends shortly after the purse is recovered.
