Perfectly nerdy dad uses a sword to cut himself a nice piece of snow cake

Behold this beautifully executed dad joke.

Nothing like cutting an ice-cold piece of snow cake on a frigid day, right?

That's how one dad decided to entertain himself on a recent snow day. Redditor youtubeTheClaymor posted a video of a friend's father having some fun. He uses a sword (whether it's real is unknown) to cut into the snow like it was a piece of cake.

He makes a perfect cut, and he scores added bonus points for making his child laugh their heads off. This very precise pop then puts the icing on the cake (pun intended) by eating some of the slice he's made.

The reddit post has been upvoted 75,000 in the 13 hours since it's been posted, and we're not the least bit surprised.

This dad proved there's a way of melting our cold stubborn hearts.
