Dad texts daughter all the reasons why he loves her mom, has the internet sobbing

Cuffing season is upon us, and with it a desire for a love so pure that it can outlast anything (or, at the very least, four solid months indoors).

So it makes sense that the internet is in tears over a tweet from Twitter user @sydnyy_, who shared a series of text messages from her father regarding his 27-year marriage to her mother.

Sydney's father details the sweet story of his engagement, the challenges of working while raising a young family and his present-day feelings about her mother, 27 years later.

"Bottom line, we fell into each other's lap under odd circumstances but it resulted in the coolest family ever. You three kids are our personalities all wrapped up. Our heart, soul, humor, kindness, respect, integrity and a million other neat stuff about us. We would not be the same without everyone we have.

And it keeps growing. I've had the perfect life because of your mom. A perfect life. Give me s[sic] billion dollars. Make the Dallas Cowboys quarterback. Make me president. None of those would be worth it without her. She doesn't just 'complete me' she came into my life when I was young and immature, completed me and then made me so much better of a person. I dated and married an angel."

Sydney's tweet hit a nerve to the tune of more than 13,600 likes, 7,000 retweets and pick-ups from viral aggregation accounts like Common White Girl and FREDDY.
