This Scottish newspaper really didn't hold back with their Trump front page

"Yes folks, they really did do it!"

LONDON -- It's common knowledge that Donald Trump isn't exactly a popular figure in Scotland.

As soon as he was elected president, the reaction on Scottish Twitter made the extent of his unpopularity abundantly clear.

Even way back before he began on his road to the White House, his campaign to build a golf course in Aberdeen made him hated among many of the locals.

Perhaps it shouldn't be much of a surprise, then, that Scottish tabloid the Daily Record published this as their front page on Thursday morning:

The front page has been shared widely on Reddit, and at the time of writing it's at the top of the r/scotland subreddit.

As Reddit user Rob_Scot pointed out, things didn't get any more complimentary inside the paper, either:

Doesn't look like President Trump will be getting much of a warm reception when he next pays a visit to his Scottish golf course.
