We love a meme with a happy ending.

Daniel Lara, the California teen who became the talk of the Internet with the "Damn, Daniel" meme, has been through a lot since his white Vans went viral. He's experienced fame, inspired tattoosstarred in a Weezer video -- he even won a lifetime supply of white Vans on Ellen.

But last weekend, Daniel was ready to give back. So he and his friend Josh Holz -- who filmed the original video -- headed to Loma Linda University Children's Hospital, where they handed out Vans to patients.

BTW, they arrived in a huge Vans shoe.

Lara even discussed his experience on Twitter -- the very birthplace of the "Damn, Daniel" meme. "Thank you so much @LLChildrensHosp," he wrote. "So happy we were able to donate Vans to our new friends!"

Damn, Daniel! Back at it again with the happy tears.
