Hey trolls -- Dan Aykroyd has seen the new, all-female reboot of Ghostbusters ... and absolutely loves it.

The actor, who co-wrote and starred in the original comedy classic, says he saw a test screening of the new film and it was "brilliant."

"It has more laughs and more scares than the first 2 films plus Bill Murray is in it!" he writes in a Facebook post

The new film is directed by Paul Feig and stars Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, Kristen Wiig and Kate McKinnon. Aykroyd noted that he loved the "genuine performances," as well as the cameo from original ghostbuster Bill Murray.

The reboot has faced heavy backlash, largely from misogynistic trolls who dislike the fact that it has an all-female cast. The trailer recently became the most disliked movie trailer in YouTube history.

McCarthy recently hit back at haters, saying she hopes they "find a friend."
