Former Guardians of the Galaxy writer/director James Gunn is becoming part of the DC family, according to multiple reports on Tuesday. And he may not be the only one.

A few hours after the news broke, Dave Bautista (who plays Drax in the Guardians series and has been very vocal in his support of Gunn) tweeted this:

Baustista has previously stated that he no longer knows if he wants to work for Disney after Gunn was fired.

Judging by the fan reactions, there are a good few characters people think he could play if he were to move to DC.

The thing is, it might not be that simple. As Bautista indicated previously to Shortlist, he's currently bound by a contract.

"Where I'm at right now is that if [Marvel] don't use that script, then I'm going to ask them to release me from my contract, cut me out or recast me," he said in regards to Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy 3 script.

So before Bautista joined the DC world, he'd presumably need to negotiate some legal stuff first.
