Beckham strips down to his underwear, does push-ups on a piano
LONDON -- In the event that you were concerned about the state of David Beckham's fitness since his sporting retirement, worry no more.
In a somewhat bizarre Instagram post, the former British footballer pumps out push-ups like it ain't no thang -- 22, to be exact.
The 41-year-old father of four posted the video in response to a nomination to complete the #22pushupchallenge from English filmmaker Guy Ritchie. The challenge seeks to raise awareness for the 22 veteran servicemen and women who, according to one study, are estimated to lose their lives every day to suicide in the U.S.

The video, which you can watch below, is the second of three that were posted to Beckham's Instagram. Thus far, we think you'll find this one to be the most, erm, entertaining:
The post itself is just a bit odd: it takes place 79 floors in the air and features Beckham doing his push-ups in nothing but briefs atop a grand piano played by a friend wearing nothing but a robe and a creepy expression.
Not sure what the significance is there, although the near-empty wine glasses visibly perched on the piano's edge might provide some indication.
Regardless, we applaud Mr. Beckham for his efforts to bring awareness to a very serious issue.
