Tom Hanks' David S. Pumpkins sure seems like he's coming back for Halloween this year
By mid-September, it's no longer too soon to think about Halloween, and you know who's ready? Tom Hanks. The Academy Award-winning actor debuted the character David S. Pumpkins on Saturday Night Live last year, and he shared a photo to Twitter that hints he may be reprising it soon.

Hanks debuted the character in Season 42 episode 4, which aired Oct. 22, 2016. Pumpkins was such a runaway hit in Hanks' SNL episode that he even came back later in the season.
Will Pumpkins be spicing up our fall comedy lineup? Or did Hanks just crucially forget to hashtag #tbt? Excuse me, Mr. Pumpkins -- I do have some questions.
