People exploded with joy when the final debate was finally over
If you heard what sounded like a massive stadium erupting in jubilee at around 10:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, you can safely assume that was the sound of America (the world?) blacking out with joy as the final debate of the 2016 presidential election season came to a close.
Think of it like when you get off work on a normal day, but this time it's Friday and you're on vacation for the next couple decades.
And, since you were in Las Vegas for the debate, you celebrated by playing one round on the slots and won, let's say, $10 million. That kind of happy.

And yet even as we got our first glimpse of light at the end of the hellscape, some folks couldn't help themselves but ruin our purest joy by reminding us all that, when you think about it, debates for the 2020 presidential campaign aren't that far off.
