SAVE $275: Verizon is offering all customers a free year of Netflix Premium (typically $22.99/month or $275 for the entire year) when bundled with the purchase of another select subscription through Verizon's free +play platform. Options include Paramount+, NBA League Pass, or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Netflix rarely does direct promotions — that was made quite apparent when it was nearly the only streaming site not to offer a Black Friday discount on any subscriptions. Loopholes to get Netflix for cheaper aren't nonexistent, though. Often, you can look to your cellphone provider for discounted (or free) Netflix.

Our current favorite hack is a two-for-one type of deal that Verizon has resurrected once again: Verizon will pay for a year of Netflix Premium (a $275 value) when you purchase an annual subscription from a partnering service and manage it through Verizon +play, a free app organization platform where Verizon customers can manage any streaming, fitness, music, or gaming subscriptions associated with their Verizon account.

If you're a Verizon customer and were already planning on paying for something like Paramount+ or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, why not get free Netflix as a treat?

Verizon's Netflix promo is aptly available as users are likely still reeling from yet another price hike announcement in October of 2023. This took the cost of Premium (Netflix's most expensive tier) from $19.99/month to $22.99/month, which winds up costing around $275 per year — the total amount you'll be saving if you get in on this offer and let Verizon pay for it. (T-Mobile is running a similar promotion.)

Netflix Premium is definitely worth it (over Netflix Basic or Standard) for families sharing an account who live in different households, as Premium is the only Netflix plan that allows the same account to be regularly accessed from multiple locations.

Eligible Verizon customers can secure their free year of Netflix with this deal through Dec. 28. Anyone who participated in a similar Netflix promo from Verizon in March isn't eligible, unfortunately, and neither are folks who are already paying for Paramount+, NBA League Pass, or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, as most live subscriptions can't be moved to +play.
