SAVE $30: As of Dec. 12, get Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Pokémon Shining Pearl for just $29.99 each, down from $59.99. GameStop Pro members can get both games for just $19.99 each, for an extra savings of $10.

Looking for a great gift for Nintendo Switch and Pokémon fans? Outside of the most current releases, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, there are plenty of great entries in the series that fans would love to receive for the holidays. And if you're the one looking to fill out your Switch collection, there are great additions to your backlog to buy, too.

As of Dec. 12, you can get Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl at GameStop for just $29.99 each. If you're a GameStop Pro Member, you can buy each one for just $19.99. That's a savings of $30 for non-Pro members and $40 for members. GameStop Pro is a rewards program that costs $25 yearly to join, so you'll save a little extra on your purchase if you already subscribe to the program.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are remakes of the 2006 Nintendo DS games Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. Set in the Sinnoh region, they offer a brand new collection of Pokémon to capture. It's an all-new vision that uses a chibi art style that looks quite different from the original games but adds plenty of quality-of-life improvements from the DS originals. You'll still capture as many Pokémon as you can throughout the adventure, which spans two halves that complement each other, but there's plenty of other fun stuff to do in each game, too.

Getting either game for essentially $30 (or $20 for GameStop Pro members) is a steal, especially as most Pokémon games rarely go on sale. If you need some last-minute gift ideas, these are great options.
