We named the Roku Ultra our favorite Roku streaming device. It's more powerful than the Roku Express 4K Plus and it comes packed with a variety of must-have features including 4K support, HDR, Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision, and voice commands by way of the Roku Voice Remote Pro. You can even sync it up to your phone to control it there if you prefer.
It's the perfect alternative to pricier options like the Apple TV and even most of Amazon's Fire TV devices, especially at this price. While we did note that sometimes its voice control was a bit spotty, this is a great performer with a speedy processor at a price you won't see often. Grab one for yourself and maybe one for someone on your gift list this year, too.
