A deer decided to stop by the gym for an unexpected workout

Apparently, it's not just humans who want to work out.

On Friday, a gym in Anderson, South Carolina, got a surprise guest visitor looking to burn some serious calories. A deer burst through the window of a Gold's Gym and wreaked some havoc amongst the sweaty patrons, according to WLOS.

Thankfully no one was hurt and it was all caught on film and the gym posted the hilarious footage on Facebook.

First, it bursts through the window, limping across the shattered glass before getting briefly stuck behind a desk.

The deer manages to then hit the weight room, and by that we mean it pranced over barbells and successfully frightened all the arm-day folks.

But don't worry — the deer is alive and well. Thanks to security footage we can see the deer leaving the same way it ran in.

But note to deer watching and perhaps feeling inspired: frolicking in the woods probably would have burned just as many calories.
