Demi Lovato and Nicki Minaj are feuding over a questionable Instagram tag
This is how a war is fought in 2016.
Singers Demi Lovato and Nicki Minaj are currently embroiled in a "feud" over Instagram tags -- a truly relatable issue.

The beef began when Nicki posted a, seemingly harmless, Instagram from Monday's Met Gala, featuring Demi and designer Jeremy Scott.
Fans were quick to notice that Nicki didn't tagged Demi in the picture, despite her being a clear part of it.
Two hours later, Demi posted a shade-filled, yet hilarious, picture involving Nicki from the same event.
Lovato, allegedly, posted the image to poke fun at herself for being "so f*cking awkward." But fans assumed the post was a blatant dig at queen Nicki and immediately lashed out at Demi in the picture's comments.
Demi attempted to squash it by editing her caption to assure fans the post was all in good fun.
"The shade being thrown in this picture actually gives me life," she wrote.
But the untagged shots had already been fired. Before long, the Lovatics and the Barbz (that's what Lovato and Minaj's fans call themselves, respectively) were waging an all-out battle in the comments, fighting for respect -- a.k.a. an Instagram tag.
Demi entered the battlefield as well, commenting on Nicki's picture with, what we assume are, sarcastic emojis.
A few fans, though, did come to the logical conclusion that perhaps Nicki's tag was simply meant to shout-out Scott, who designed both Minaj and Lovato's gowns.
While fans hoped the drama would soon die down, Demi fired shots again, this time with some NSFW Snapchats.
Silver lining? We've all been treated to some quality celeb beef. Yum!
