Demi Lovato to speak at the 2016 Social Good Summit

Lovato is among the latest speaker additions to the Social Good Summit, scheduled for September 18 and 19 in NYC.

The Social Good Summit is just around the corner, and we're excited to continue adding some of the biggest names in the social impact space to an already packed lineup.

As one of the biggest names in social media, Demi Lovato has used her fame to advocate on behalf of several social and political causes. Having lived with depression and self-harm herself, Lovato is now recognized for her dedication to drawing awareness to mental health issues. Most recently, Lovato announced that she has taken on co-ownership of CAST Centers, the treatment facility that helped with Lovato's recovery in 2011. She will be joined on stage at the Social Good Summit with CAST Centers co-owner Mike Bayer.

The Social Good Summit, which is scheduled to take place on Sept. 18 and 19 at New York City's 92nd Street Y, is open to the public and tickets are still available for purchase.
