Is balloon popper the best or worst job at the Democratic Convention?

Those who made it to the very end of Thursday night's Democratic National Convention witnessed the massive balloon drop that turned otherwise serious adult politicians into delighted little kids.

Lucky viewers might have also caught Hillary Clinton's overjoyed response to the beginning of the celebration.

But the party's over, and the balloons have to go.

Many of these methods seem very inneffective and possibly harmful to these people's backs. It seems like there would be other, better ways to acheive this that would be quicker and more safe.

Here are some other popping methods we suggest:

  • Hot iron

  • Large sword

  • DIY Edward Scissorhands costume

  • Nail gun

  • Stapler

  • Stiletto heel

  • Cat claw

  • Or just letting a bunch of cats loose in there.

  • A world record-breaking dog
