Remember brand tweets? When pop culture news used to happen, brands would often jump on the trending topics to promote their products with a light-hearted quip.

Sometimes, people would laugh at the tweets. Other times they would roll their eyes. Occasionally, people would get angry at the tweets for being insensitive.

Today, it happened again.

In the wake of Beyonce's pregnancy announcement on Instagram, in which she revealed she was due with twins, the fast casual pancake restaurant Denny's chimed in with a joke about buns.

"Wow, bey has TWO buns in the oven! that’s just an expression by the way. please don’t eat those buns. they are babies," tweeted Denny's, a restaurant that serves eggs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, about the twin's Beyoncé will have.

Users chimed in, asking Denny's if they were okay and generally commenting on the strangeness of the tweet.

Of course, Denny's is okay. They are more than okay. For the first time in weeks, the marketing team at Denny's was able to brainstorm a fun brand tweet about something that wasn't a religious ban or Jeff Sessions or the Keystone XL Pipeline.

Haggard and starving, Denny's Twitter stumbled out of the woods at the news of Beyoncé's twins, its mouth agape over the fact that something could happen in the world that they could make a joke about.

"Beyoncé... twins...buns... funny, light-hearted news," they whispered, through lips that haven't tasted the cool liquid of brand-related topical comedy since January 19th.

Congratulations, Denny's. And congratulations, Beyoncé.
