It's touch-activated, and 100% fabulous.

Feast your eyes on this.

A technicolour greenhouse has emerged in the middle of central Tokyo.

The aptly-named Digital Vegetables, complete with psychedelic lights and a symphony of plants, is part of a design-based event that's happening in Tokyo.

I mean, just look at it.

Look at it, just casually lying there being amazing.

The greenhouse has seven types of vegetables planted inside, with each vegetable triggering a different sound when touched.

The different sound effects were made by taking natural sounds such as "touching leaves" and "eating fruit", and then mixing them with different orchestral instruments to make a melody.

"Tomatoes are violin, carrots are trumpet, cabbages are oboe, mini radishes are flute, sweet potatoes are piano, eggplants are harp, pumpkins are clarinet," says the project's website.

Unsurprisingly, the exhibition is a lot less nightclub and a lot more greenhouse in the day.

Digital Vegetables, which is part of Tokyo's Midtown Design Touch 2017 exhibition, was set up by a digital company aptly named Party. The event will run until Nov. 5.

Well, we know where we'll be.
