Not many people have their very first song go viral, but then again not many people write awesome songs about dinosaurs that are in love.

On Tuesday evening, 33-year-old London-based singer/songwriter Tom Rosenthal shared just such an effort — only it wasn't from him, it was from his three-year-old daughter Fenn.

Now that is art.

Rosenthal told Mashable that he and his daughter occasionally mess around in his home studio, and it was during one of those sessions that "Dinosaurs in Love" was born.

"Typically I ask her what she wants to do a song about and this time it was dinosaurs!" he said.

"It was certainly a surprise that it went viral. You never expect these things. Feels lovely to make a few people's day a little better!"

When he first played the finished song for his daughter, Rosenthal said she had some constructive feedback.

"Comically she was actually quite critical of the middle section when she was talking rather than singing," he explained, "but then she made me play it to her about five times."

Rosenthal said his daughter enjoys doing little songs in the studio, so there may well be more where this one came from.

And as for how she reacted to the song already hitting 400,000 views on Twitter?

"She can barely count past 17 so she won’t have a clue what half a million means," Rosenthal said. "I’ll explain to her when she’s older."
