16-bit classic Disney games now on Mac and PC
Remember when licensed animated movie tie-in games weren't the worst thing in the world?
It seems game distribution service Gog.com remembers, as its re-releasing three 16-bit classic Disney titles currently only available on dusty cartridges or nebulously legal emulation. You can download Aladdin, The Lion King and The Jungle Book's game tie-ins for PC, Mac and Linux from GOG starting Thursday morning.
All three games represented solid examples of platforming, and were standouts of the time (just like their Disney film brethren). These games were available on both the SNES and Sega Genesis in the early 1990s, with the exception of Aladdin. (Each console had a completely different version of that game, and GOG is carrying the Sega Genesis one.)

The games have all been remastered to work on Mac, PC and Linux systems, and can be downloaded for $9.99 each from GOG, or 30% off if you buy them all together.
