First 'Aladdin' photos reveal Will Smith's genie look and Twitter is not having it
Disney's live-action Aladdin is one of the most anticipated movies of 2019, and now we have our first look at Guy Ritchie's adaptation of the animated classic.
In exclusive first photos, Entertainment Weekly reveals Aladdin (Mena Massoud) and Jasmine (Naomi Scott) on the streets of Agrabah, and Will Smith as a, uh...very different genie than what we're used to.

Smith's look is one of the biggest surprises of the photoshoot, since many were unsure if he'd be partially motion capture or CGI. Stills reveal Aladdin speaking to the genie, no longer his iconic shade of blue and sporting a very distinct hairdo and beard.
