Strap in for a new political conspiracy theory involving Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, and ... Disney World?

The most magical place on Earth delivered a sneak peek of its newly refurbished Hall of Presidents exhibit Monday with a new addition: Donald Trump. Yes, there is a now a creepy, talking robot version of Donald Trump at Disney World.

While there were plenty of jokes to be had about how awful the Trump robot looked, a few people started to point out that it looked strikingly similar to Trump's election opponent, Hillary Clinton. Or Jon Voight, but also Hillary Clinton.

The Hall of Presidents closed in January, shortly before Trump took office, and was initially slated to reopen on June 30. However, renovations were delayed for six months, feeding into the theory that Disney may have assumed Clinton would win the election. When Trump's surprise win came in November, the company then had to modify the animatronic Clinton to look like Trump, hence the delays.

While the theory is entirely plausible, Disney has seemingly endless amounts of money, and one would assume that it if this were the case, it would shell out the extra cash to put a new Donald Trump face on their robot instead of repurposing Clinton's. Especially considering the political climate, and how an exhibit such as this would receive intense scrutiny from the public and media.

Mashable has reached out to Disney for additional information and comments, including when construction of the robot began. We will update this post if we hear back.
