Everything coming to Disney+ in July 2020

We hope you're ready to add to your summer streaming list because Disney+ is ready for you.

The magical streaming platform plans to lighten the mood with Muppets Now, a brand new unscripted comedy starring Kermit the Frog and friends that premieres July 31. Disney+ will also be adding episodes to its original series including One Day at Disney, Pixar in Real Life, and It's a Dog's Life With Bill Farmer (The voice of Goofy/Pluto meets a ton of cute pups in this one).

In terms of movies, Disney+ will be welcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story, Race to Witch Mountain, and a couple of Diary of a Wimpy Kid installments to its catalog. It will also become home to a filmed production with the original cast of Hamilton, just in time for the Fourth of July.

Top Pick: Hamilton

You won't have to "wait for it" any longer. Nearly five years after its Broadway debut, Lin-Manuel Miranda's hip-hop musical about America's founding fathers is premiering on Disney+.

The new film is a recorded version of the Broadway production and features original principal cast members including Leslie Odom Jr. as Aaron Burr, Phillipa Soo as Eliza Hamilton, and Miranda as Alexander Hamilton himself.

If you're yet to score tickets to a live production, now's your chance to put some visuals to the soundtrack you've listened to over and over again. Even if you did manage to catch a showing of Hamilton, you know it's good enough for a rewatch — especially with all these glossy camera angels offering a new perspective.
