Everything Coming to Disney+ in June
June will soon be upon us, and you know what that means: more content will be making its way to Disney+.
Big ticket releases include Loki, Marvel's next series, and Luca, Pixar's tale of two sea monsters having the greatest summer of their lives on land. On top of these new releases, shows like Star Wars: The Bad Batch, Big Shot, and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series will be putting out new episodes weekly. Plus, with old movie and TV favorites entering the Disney+ catalog, there'll be no shortage of things to watch in June.
Top Pick: Loki
The God of Mischief is returning as the star of his own series, and we couldn't be more excited. Loki (Tom Hiddleston) is one of those villains you can't help but love: he's charming, charismatic, and constantly steals every scene he's in. Now, with his brother Thor nowhere to be seen, Loki can finally claim what he's always wanted - the spotlight.
Loki takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame, which featured a past version of Loki stealing the Tesseract and disappearing off to who knows where. The series finds him working alongside the Time Variance Authority, making his way through history and impacting events in unexpected ways. Marvel has already proved it can deliver solid TV with WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Loki's time-bending hijinks and iconic lead character sound like a recipe for fun (and so much chaos). Loki stars Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku, and Richard E. Grant.
