Everything coming to Disney+ in May

Disney+ may not be releasing any new Marvel series releasing in May (we'll be waiting impatiently for Loki in June), but the streaming platform is more than making up for it by adding even more movies and TV shows to its extensive library.

Missing The Mandalorian? Get ready for Star Wars: The Bad Batch, an animated spin-off of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Looking for something that will have you singing and dancing? Check out Season 2 of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Add in new kids' series, National Geographic shows, and even more episodes of Big Shot and The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, and May is shaping up to be a month full of Disney content.

Top pick: Cruella

Disney returns to creating live-action prequels for their iconic animated villains with Cruella, starring Emma Stone and Emma Thompson.

Set against the backdrop of 1970s punk rock London, Cruella follows Estrella (Stone) as she rises through the fashion world and descends into wickedness through her alter ego, Cruella. Obviously Cruella's penchant for animal murder makes her irredeemable, so hopefully Disney steers clear of absolving her like it did Maleficent and instead goes all-in on her evil and notoriety. Whatever happens, both Stone and Thompson seem to be having the time of their lives going head to head, and the fashion will surely be a standout.
