Bad hair days can be ruff.

Josh Pitruzzella, owner of an 11-year-old shih tzu named Mimi, made the mistake of having his dad bring his precious pet to the groomers.

In an effort to save money, Pitruzzella's dad told the groomer to shave everything except poor Mimi's ears and tail, resulting in this stunning blow out.

Honestly, we think she just got done with a nice spa day and a salon appointment at Drybar.

The good news is, the cut only cost $35, the bad news is, Pitruzzella and Mimi have to work with a very strange look for a while.

To add insult to hair injury, Pitruzzella had no idea dad was going to suddenly choose a money-saving cut for Mimi. Her usual, monthly cuts run the family about $150.

Apparently both Pitruzzella and Mimi aren't thrilled. People on Twitter have been comparing the pooch to everyone from William H. Macy to Dave Hill from the glam rock group, Slade.

Even though Mimi probably wants to grow her sleek 'do, we suggest maybe playing with some color while she's still got those luscious pigtails.

She could be a dead ringer for Harley Quinn.
