Empanada-stealing dog is the real hero of this Chilean TV interview

Some heroes wear capes—others wear collars.

The saying "can't teach a old dog new tricks" doesn't apply to this sneaky bandit.

At first, you're watching a simple interview about empanadas for Chile Independence Day. But blink and you'll miss a dog quietly take one of the empanadas off the grill. Talk about a ninja in disguise.

The best part is no one noticed and Kuarta TV continued to conduct the interview without a second glance.

However, many viewers found the sneaky canine immediately and praised the dog on Twitter. There's even artwork with the hashtag #PerritoLadronPresidente (#DogForPresident).

While some dogs play fetch, others find a calling for delicious pastries—and well, we can't blame them for it.
