This is why dogs, small children and nail polish don't mix well

LONDON -- If you leave your child alone with a dog and a pot of nail polish, you should be prepared for the consequences.

Kate Foster, a writer from Somerset, UK, learned this lesson the hard way.

On Monday, she tweeted the following two images of her sleeping hound.

To be fair to the unnamed child in question, they did a pretty good job. That dog looks positively fabulous, AND he doesn't appear to have any polish on his fur.
