Even Dogecoin is rallying in this cryptocurrency boom
Dogecoin was as high as $0.00673467 Tuesday.
That seems like nothing compared to the $16,663 for one Bitcoin, but the meme-based cryptocurrency is having a moment.
Look at this price chart from CoinGecko showing Dogecoin since it started in 2013. It's been going up and up -- growth in 2017 was pretty noticeable. Even if Dogecoin is far from even a penny, it's inching closer. Not even a week ago it was at $0.0038.
Everyone's cheering on the joke currency. But with 112 billion coins it's getting more serious.
