Buses are the next frontier in pizza delivery on the move
LONDON -- Britain has lost its patience with the absence of snacks on public transport. So much so that people have taken to getting pizzas delivered to moving -- yes, moving -- trains.
Domino's has taken note of the nation's desperate plea for sustenance during journeys, and has decided to trial a pizza delivery service on a bus route in Blackpool.
Passengers travelling on the number 22 bus route from Mereside to Cleveley in Blackpool will be able to order pizzas by phone, and the pizza will be waiting for them when they arrive at their chosen bus stop.

Aaron Ryder was the first to try out the pizza bus on Tuesday on his daily commute.
“I was on my way to a lunchtime shift at work, when the bus driver announced the new delivery service over the tannoy," Ryder said in a Domino's statement.
"I love a Mighty Meaty pizza so was straight on the phone to see if I could get it before my journey ended – I did and it was delicious!” he continued.
And thankfully, the service won't cost any more than a usual Domino's delivery, a spokesperson for Domino's told Mashable.
Sadly, the service is currently only available on the number 22 bus service in Blackpool, but that could change if all goes well.
"The pizza on a bus delivery service is currently being trialled in the Blackpool area and we hope to be able to roll it out to other destinations in the future," Helen Tosney-Collins, Communications Manager at Domino’s Pizza Group, told Mashable.
"Our customers regularly ask us to deliver their hot, fresh pizza to weird and wonderful places, so we’re open to suggestions!” she continued.
What's next, eh? Pizza delivered to a plane? A moving ferry?
