Looks like Childish Gambino has another earworm on his hands.

Earlier this month, the rapper, also formally known as Donald Glover, released his new single "This Is America." Since its video was uploaded to YouTube, it's racked up over 111,000,000 views — an incredibly impressive feat considering it's only been up for nine days. With numbers like that, it's no surprise that the track has landed Glover his very first Billboard chart-topping position.

According to Billboard, the song took the number one spot on Billboard Hot 100 in both streams and sales with 65.3 million streams and 78,000 downloads in the week ending on May 10, based on numbers from Nielsen Music.

"This is America" knocks Drake off the top spot for "Nice For What," which held tight for four weeks. Drake's "God's Plan" also held the number one stop for 11 weeks prior, so time will tell how far that will fall if Gambino continues to release more new music.

Surprisingly, this is the first number one hit for Glover. The rapper, actor, and comedian previously made it to the Billboard Hot 100 with "Redbone" in 2017, but it never made it past the number two spot. Many fans reacted positively to Gambino's sudden reign.

The video for "This Is America" was directed by Hiro Murai and you can learn more about the symbolism in the piece here.
