Leave it to Lando Calrissian himself to set the record straight on his sexuality.

Donald Glover, the actor behind Calrissian in Solo: A Star Wars Story, was asked in an interview with Sirius XM Tuesday if he knew about Calrissian's pansexuality, a fact that was recently revealed by one of the Solo writers last week.

Glover smartly replied: "How can you not be pansexual in space?"

The ever smooth and smart Glover brings up a good point. Space is full of all sorts of different species, each with their own societal norms. It's impossible to not be pansexual.

"There's so many things to have sex with," he said, laughing. "I'm serious. I didn't think that was that weird, he's like coming on to everybody."

Calrissian isn't the kind of guy to stop and ask something what gender it identifies as, Glover said. And who knows what kinds of genders these species are working with anyway.

"Who cares? We're having a good time out here," Glover said.

Of course, that pansexuality isn't actually represented in Solo: A Star Wars Story, which makes the whole "pansexual" label a little bit disingenuous. But at least nobody is shying away from it off the screen.
