Make Twitter Great Again.

If any presidential candidate has reason to mark Twitter's tenth birthday, it's Donald Trump. The platform has been a driving force in his insurgent presidential candidacy in 2016.

Trump's love affair with Twitter began innocently on May 4, 2009, with a plug to watch his appearance on Late Night with former host David Letterman.

Since then, things have really gone downhill. Trump's Twitter feed has become a hotbed of insults and incitement of conspiracy theories and fringe ideas.

In honor of Twitter's birthday, Mashable went back in time to pick the best moments from @realDonaldTrump's Twitter feed.

Birtherism

Trump's popularity among many in the Republican base was born in part from Birtherism — or the theory that President Barack Obama was born in Kenya and not Hawaii.

Obama begrudgingly proved this conspiracy theory false by releasing his long form birth certificate.

Naturally, that didn't stop Trump, who was at the time mulling his own presidential bid.

He pushed the so-called Birther theory for more than a year after Obama released proof of his Hawaii birthplace.

Ebola fear

At the height of the Ebola outbreak in 2014, Trump — who has no medical or science background — urged Obama to stop flights from areas that were battling the deadly disease.

His tweets only added to the fear many Americans faced about the illness.

Famous feuds

Trump has tried to pick fights with a number of celebrities and famous faces by firing off 140-character insults.

In 2012, Trump took a below-the-belt shot at Huffington Post founder Arianna Huffington by going after her ex-husband.

He weighed in on Twilight star Kristen Stewart's cheating scandal with co-star Robert Pattinson.

Trump also used his Twitter feed to feud with former The View co-host Rosie O'Donnell.

And he's kept up his bizarre fixation with fighting with Fox News host Megyn Kelly by tweeting attacks her way.

Cringe-worthy missives

There was the time Trump thought the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks was the right time to address his haters.

The day Obama won re-election, Trump marked the occasion by calling America's democracy is a "sham."

Random musings

Perhaps the best part of Trump's twitter feed are the random 140-character insights into the reality star's head.

He fired off this missive on overweight people drinking Diet Coke...

Bragged about his alleged above-average intelligence (which is hard to believe based on the many misspellings in his tweets)...

Tried to stop the Internet from spreading former Daily Show host Jon Stewart's attempt to rename Trump "Fuckface Von Clownstick"...

And made insensitive comments about the preponderance of sexual assaults in the military.

So here's to Donald Trump's twitter feed!

One can only imagine what it would look like if he were to become president.
