Trump's absurd statement on health care gets trolled because how could it not?

As the great Avril Lavigne once sang, "Why'd you have to go and make health care so complicated?"

Well, okay. That's not exactly what she said, but if she were to release her hit angsty 2002 anthem, "Complicated," today about the laughable health care statement Donald Trump made on Monday, those would probably be the lyrics.

In a recent speech about America's health care laws and the replacement of Obamacare, President Trump attempted to speak from a place of deep knowledge to enlighten the nation's governors and the American people about the unrealized depth of the subject.

"Now, I have to tell you, it's an unbelievably complex subject," Trump began before dropping a line so mind-boggling that it will be analyzed for years to come. "Nobody knew health care could be so complicated."

It makes a lot of sense when you think about it, right? I mean how could anyone, especially the President of the United States, have ever known that finding a way to provide costly medical services and coverage for literally millions of people could be complicated?

Once Twitter users caught wind of Trump's absurd words, the trolling began.

Even Bernie Sanders mocked the statement while chatting with Anderson Cooper on Tuesday morning, and actually laughed out loud when he thought about it.

At Monday's meeting, Trump also communicated his belief that he and his administration have come up with a health care solution "that's really, really I think very good."

Though Trump has yet to reveal the details of this health care plan, here's hoping it's not too complicated for the rest of us to wrap our heads around.
