Donald Trump has been tweeting his way through his own impeachment, and it appears that after months of discussions and testimonies the whole ordeal is really starting to sink in for him.

On Thursday afternoon Trump tweeted, "I JUST GOT IMPEACHED FOR MAKING A PERFECT PHONE CALL!" This was just shortly after the Senate issued a summons to Trump that will require him to respond to the charges of impeachment in writing by Saturday evening.

The idea of a president getting impeached is really not funny, but something about the formatting of this all-caps tweet and the reiteration of that call with the President of Ukraine being "perfect" is absolutely sending the tired people of Twitter.

Within minutes of Trump announcing he "just got impeached" because of his "perfect phone call," Twitter became flooded with memes.

Even Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez responded to Trump's yelling and said the tweet had "very strong 'Mom, yell at my teacher to bump up my grade' energy." She's not wrong!

For the remainder of this impeachment trial, I guess everyone should feel free to tweet whatever they're doing at any given moment in all caps. That's where we are now.

I, for example, AM JUST FILING THIS PERFECT ARTICLE!
