LONDON -- A British street artist who compared Donald Trump to Hitler has received 28 death threats from supporters of the presumptive Republican presidential nominee.

Pegasus is a street artist based in London. In February, he painted an image of Donald Trump in a Nazi uniform on the side of a pub in Bristol in England. He's planning to display an adapted version of the artwork in Los Angeles this October as part of his world tour Gods & Monsters.

The LAPD have apparently been contacted and are planning to increase security for the show.

"LAPD have been very supportive, they take threats of any kind very seriously," Pegasus said. "I have been assured there will be uniformed officers on the night of my show.

"I will not be defeated by fear mongering and I will not be censored."

Manager Leonard Villa, who's received the majority of the calls, told us more about the threats people have been making.

"They say they know what day the show's going to be... and they're going to come and sabotage it.

"It's quite frightening really. I think people must be really obsessed with Donald."

We've reached out to the LAPD for comment.
