Donald Trump is planning to attend Sunday's 9/11 ceremony at ground zero, NBC foreign correspondent Katy Tur tweeted on Saturday.
The news comes after Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton announced Friday that she will be in attendance at the event.

Trump's comments on 9/11 are numerous and fraught: in particular, he has come under fire for his allegations that he witnessed Muslims "cheering" in Jersey City, New Jersey the day of the attacks.
