LOS ANGELES -- Dr. Who star Alex Kingston will have a role in Netflix's upcoming Gilmore Girls revival.

The actress, who has also starred in Arrow and E.R., said she will be playing a "very eccentric character" in more than one installment of the series.

Kingston revealed some tidbits about her time on set at Florida SuperCon last week.

During the panel, she reflected on how back in the day, she was shooting E.R. on the Warner Bros. Burbank lot at the same time Gilmore Girls was filming.

"It was so funny for them to sort of reboot it again," she said, when answering a fan's question about the revival. "Alexis...she's all grown up. She's got a baby. I remember when she was so young."

Still, the actress revealed only a few tidbits about the overall experience with the Netflix show:

1. "It was great."

2. "We actually didn't film [my scenes] on the Warner Bros. lot. We were on location, which was nice. But that's all I'm going to say."
