In the early hours of May 13, Drake Instagrammed -- and then promptly deleted -- a clean-shaven selfie.
It's hard to even tell much from the grainy photo, but fans are tweeting their own views from what is certainly the apocalypse.
To say the reaction is negative is an understatement. Fans are taking it as a personal betrayal at best and, overwhelmingly, his resignation from their hearts. To paraphrase the chorus of tears, "boy, bye."

The new look is actually for his gig this weekend as Saturday Night Live's musical guest and host. He captioned the picture, “Beard making an epic comeback in 2 weeks …. only for you @nbcsnl.”
Well, this does mean he'll be a more versatile performer and, most importantly, a very convincing tiny baby.
