Drake wasn't about to let Ed Sheeran hold onto his new Spotify records
Drake and Ed Sheeran will continue to live out their underdog narratives for the rest of their days as they take turns ousting each other as the King of Spotify.
More Life, Drake's new 'playlist' released over the weekend, just shattered two of Ed Sheeran's streaming records he's held for less than a month according to the streaming service.
Drake now has the best first day streams for an album with 61,302,082 streams beating Sheeran's Divide, which earned 56,727,861 streams on March 3. Drizzy also has the most streams for any artist in a single day with 76,355,041 streams to Sheeran's 68,695,172 the first full day his new album was available.
Drake also had a big day on Twitter with over 2.5 million tweets about the album in just 36 hours, including some from a few notable fans.
