Drake releases flexes his acting chops in a new short film, 'Please Forgive Me'

Now streaming on Apple Music.

If you're over just listening to Drake's latest album Views, you might like the rapper's most recent endeavor— a short film titled Please Forgive Me, inspired by Views.

The project, which Drake teased on Instagram for a month, was officially released Sunday night, exclusively on Apple Music.

Drake exercises his acting muscles in the dramatic 20-minute, action-thriller directed by Anthony Mandlerin. The Toronto rapper wields guns and wanders the Johannesburg, South Africa landscape, while attempting to con $1 million from a businessman (as many immediately pointed out, Please Forgive Me mirrors the plot of Indecent Proposal).

He hasn't released official standalone music videos for many of the hits off of his latest project, but the film features around seven tracks from it throughout, and includes appearances from artists featured on Views, Kyla and Popcaan.

Fans, of course, had mixed reactions to the project.

You can watch Please Forgive Me here via Apple Music and judge for yourself whether or not forgiveness should be granted.
