Golden State Warriors' player Draymond Green was reportedly arrested on assault charges in East Lansing, Michigan over the weekend.

Police aren't forthcoming with details on the incident, refusing to confirm to MLive that it was Green who was arrested but saying it was an NBA player.

Meanwhile, police reportedly told ESPN that it was Green and that the incident was essentially a fight with another man at a restaurant: "It was basically an altercation between two guys. There's no injuries. He was released with a $200 bond on Sunday."

On Monday morning, the Golden State Warriors released a statement simply saying they were aware of the reports and were investigating.

Green, a Michigan native and graduate of Michigan State, is scheduled for arraignment on July 20.

After causing a stir during the NBA playoffs this season with physical play (which earned him a one-game suspension during the NBA Finals), Green was recently selected to be part of the United States men's basketball team at the upcoming Rio Summer Olympics.
